Tools for conducting e-classes
In line with the assumptions adopted concerning the organisation of education at studies at the University of Silesia in academic year 2020/2021, in order to provide the appropriate quality of remote classes, as well as the safety of participants and their personal data, work should be carried out using the following IT tools:
- platform - Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams, Skype for Companies);
- platform - Moodle;
- in the case of other tools, the faculty must have a relevant license agreement, in particular taking into consideration the GDPR requirements.
Please watch the video tutorials on Moodle and Microsoft Teams, which will help you learn the basic functionalities of these applications.

MOODLE PLATFORM
Each faculty at the University of Silesia currently has its own Moodle e-platform: https://el.us.edu.pl/ where courses corresponding to class modules can be uploaded.

MICROSOFT TEAMS
Teams is an Office 365 app – available for each employee and student of the University of Silesia.
Due to its multifunctionality Teams can to be a “comman centre” for organising cooperation with students by integrating multiple solutions within a single tool.
